Gifts and Donations
The Hazy Library and Learning Center is the center of intellectual, social, and cultural learning of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Prescott Campus academic community. Individual and corporate philanthropy transforms the basic library resources and services into a creative and dynamic environment. The Library appreciates the generosity of those donors who help contribute to the success of the Library. Thank you for your interest and support.
Ways to Give
Whether you support the library with cash donations to the annual fund or choose to remember the library by estate planning, there are many ways to make a gift. Monetary donations are especially welcomed.
To make a monetary donation to the annual fund, please contact:
Sarah Thomas, Library Director
The Hazy Library and Learning Center gratefully accepts gifts-in-kind including books, journals, periodicals, and DVDs for the collection. Each donation is evaluated to ensure that it fits within the scope of our collection management policies. Items that do not fit the inclusion criteria will be returned to the donor, given to students in the “free” box in the vestibule, or given to other libraries, including those in the Yavapai Library Network.
Potential donors are encouraged to speak with the Associate Director about the appropriateness of a possible gift.

Arts and Artifacts
The Hazy Library and Learning Center welcomes art and artifacts which enhance our learning environment. The Art Committee will determine whether the Library will accept a donated piece of art/artifact in accordance with the art selection criteria policy, including mission, historic importance, condition of the item, cost of installation, maintenance and security, available space, overall aesthetics, style and nature.

Conditions of Acceptance
Gifts and donations are accepted with the understanding and agreement that the donated material becomes the property of the Hazy Library and Learning Center. The Library makes all necessary decisions as to retention, use, display, loan, and discard, at its discretion. The donor will be asked to sign a Deed of Gift Agreement form for each donation. In most circumstances, donors are responsible for delivering gifts to the Library.
Appraisal for Gifts
In accordance with Internal Revenue Service regulations, the Hazy Library and Learning Center does not assess, appraise, or estimate value to gifts-in-kind.
A written letter of acknowledgement will be sent to the donor in a timely fashion.
