The Hazy Library and Learning Center provides access to and delivery of information resources and multimedia technologies to students, faculty, and staff to strengthen the University’s commitment to academic excellence in teaching, learning, and research.
Qualified professional and paraprofessional staff provide expertise to procure, organize, and manage onsite collections, to provide access to electronic information resources, to preserve and safeguard a rich heritage of unique aviation resources, to deliver information literacy instruction programs, and to maintain an environment conducive to learning and study. The Multimedia Technology Center provides multimedia technological support and training, multimedia creation and editing, and coordinates media support with campus programs, events, and activities. The Aviation Safety and Security Archives promotes research by preserving and making available primary, unique or rare records, and manuscript materials and by providing a portal which facilitates access to information relating to aviation and aviation/aerospace safety and security.

It is the policy of the University, to seek and provide student and faculty involvement in evaluating and assessing Library and Media services and collections to ensure the effective support of the teaching and learning environment and of academic programs and the teaching and learning outcomes.
PURPOSE OF THE LIBRARY ADVISORY COMMITTEE:
1. To promote and enhance the effectiveness of Library and Media Services by making pertinent recommendations to the Director of Library Services.
2. To serve as a liaison between the Library and Media Services and the interests and needs of faculty, students and staff in enhancing services and strengthening academic programs.
3 . To assist the Director of Library Services in developing, assessing, and promoting the Library and Media Services Statement of Purpose and Strategic Plan.
4. To assist the university community in enhancing the role of the Library and Media Services by interfacing with academic departments and campus committees.
