General Information


Where can I park when I come to the library?
Parking is available next to the library in Parking Lot G.  Enter the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University campus from main entrance (Dan Carrell Drive) and go straight to the Visitor’s Center and turn right.  You will be in Parking Lot G.

Is food or drink allowed in the library?
Only packaged snack foods such as candy bars and drinks with secure covered lids are are allowed. For more information please read our Food and Drink Policy.

What are the library hours?
During the fall and winter, regular hours are:
Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – midnight
Friday, 7:00 am – 9:00 pm
Saturday, 10:00 am – 9:00 pm
Sunday, 10:00 am – midnight

Summer hours are:
Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 9:00 pm
Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday, Closed
Sunday, 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Are there group study areas in the library?
There are six group study areas in the library, three collaboration rooms, and a presentation room.  All rooms are located on the second floor of the library.  Rooms can be reserved at the Media Desk or by calling 777-3816.   Schedules are available outside of the rooms where you may also write in your own reservation.

Are there any quiet study areas in the library?
The first floor of the library is designated as the quiet study area.  There are study tables and soft seating, as well as computers available.  Also located on the first floor is the Worthington Reading Room which is designated as a quiet study area.

Do you have copy machines?
Copy machines are available on both the first and second floors of the library.  Copies using your Eagle Card ID or Department Copy Card are five cents per copy.  A coin-operated copy machine is located on the first floor and costs 10 cents per copy.  The staff at the Circulation Desk on the first floor can assist you with any copy questions.

Can I use my cell phone in the library?
No.  We ask that you use your cell phone either outside or in the lobby/vestibule area.

Is there a lost and found in the library?
You make check for lost items at the Circulation Desk or call 777-3811.  However, items are taken to the Safety Office on a daily basis.

Is there a fax machine I can Use?
No.  Currently the library does no have a fax available for public use. You may use the fax machine in the Safety Office, the SGA office and in the Copy Center.

Is there a typewriter I can use in the library?
Yes.  A typewriter is available at the Media Desk for check out.
