Computers

ComputersHazy Library has computers available on both floors of the library.

On the first floor, the instruction room (room 123) has 40 computers available to students when not in use by classes.

Fours kiosk computers are available to search the Library Catalog, check email, and print.

The Information Commons is located on the second floor of the library and has 40 computers. It is available for use anytime during library open hours.

Instruction Room and Infocommons computers provide access to the Internet, MS office and specialized programs like Dreamweaver, MatLab, and CATIA. Each has a DVD/CD player, CD burner and can print to the color laser printer or plotter.

There are also four scanning stations and one plotter available for use in the Infocommons.

Laptops

Laptops are available for checkout on the second floor at the Multimedia Technology Center desk or on the first floor Circulation Desk. The laptops are for in-library use only. All laptops come with wireless network connectivity. For more information, please read our Laptop Checkout information section listed under Equipment Available for Campus Events page.

Infocommons and Laptop Support

The staff at the Multimedia Technology Center provide support for computers, printers, scanners and software in the Infocommons area. The desk is staffed during all open library hours.

Campus General Use Computing Labs

There are several other general use labs available on campus for student use. More information about lab location and hours is available on the Information Technology Web Access page in ERNIE.

Multimedia Editing and Production Lab (Room 232)

Computers

The lab is open to all students, staff and faculty for general computing as well as video, audio or photo editing or production needs. The lab contains two video editing stations utilizing Dell's T3500 computer, two HP ScanJet 4850 scanners and nine iMac computers.

Prescott Campus ResNet Support Office

ResNet (Resident Hall Network) is an Internet network that brings both wired Ethernet and wireless connectivity to residence halls on campus. ResNet Computing Consultants (RCC) are now located at the library in room 237. They will provide a "Best effort" level of support and are here to help you fix your own computer. All services are provided free of charge. They are available fall and spring semester only, Monday thru Friday 4pm-8pm.
