Help

Interlibrary loan is a service which provides access to materials from other libraries. Patrons may request materials which are not found in the Yavapai Library Network from libraries, both locally, and nationwide. Through Interlibrary loan, we are able to greatly expand the range of materials available to students, faculty, and staff of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
This service is available to ERAU faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students.
After a patron submits a request for materials, the ILL staff will submit the request to libraries which own the item needed. The lending library will send the material to the ERAU library, and the patron will be notified when it arrives. The average request will take approximately 10 days to three weeks to be completed. Loan periods are determined by the lending library, but are usually a minimum of 2 weeks. Copies of magazine or journal articles are yours to keep.
The ILL staff will make every effort to fill your request; however there is no guarantee that a request will be filled. The patron will be notified if we are unable to locate and borrow the items which are requested.
Requests can be submitted using the online form found on the library home page or at the library circulation desk.

Interlibrary Loan Book Request
Requested materials may include books, visual materials such as videos or DVD’s, or articles from periodicals or journals. The lending library decides whether or not to loan requested materials. Items not usually lent may include reference books and materials, rare books or special collections, and whole issues of periodicals or journals.
Currently there is no charge to request and receive materials. However, the patron is responsible for any damaged or lost items.
